Line Sennville
NOVEMBER DECEMBER

opening Thursday November 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Already, from an early age, I was particularly fond of drawing and writing poems. During my secondary studies, I registered each year for the plastic arts option where I had the chance to explore different mediums.  During my teenage years, I began to paint small projects while continuing to draw.  I participated in various drawing and poetry competitions where some were rewarded.

In 2011 I participated in the Thousand Words of Love competition where one of my letters was selected for the edition of the 8th box set 2012.

Nature is and always will be a great source of inspiration.    I particularly like trees, their strength, their unique character, their roots firmly anchored in the ground.  This nature teaches me, guides me, nourishes me.

Thanks to the medium of painting, I try to translate everything it transmits to me. All these emotions that are born through my writing, I let them take shape and color.

Whether on canvas, on wood, on fabric or on slate, I like to slide my brushes and let the magic happen.  Working with texture adds depth to my works.

Being an ''artist'' is wonderful. Vibrating through art helps me open up to its beauty.  I hope that when you look at my works you will be able to hear all my poetry.

I am happy to introduce myself to you today.

from February 12 to April 11, 2022

opening Thursday March 3, 2022 during the 5 to 7

I evolve in many artistic fields. I went to crafts fairs as a leather designer.

I taught arts to children in  CPE   and SDG for 25 years. For 4 years, I paint my passion for horses.

Pottery, faux stained glass, acrylic, charcoal and collage fascinate me!

We look forward to meeting you on March 3 at my opening!

Helen Durocher
from April 12 to June 15, 2022

opening Thursday April 14, 2022 during the 5 to 7

Registered for private drawing lessons on physiognomy and after exploring various mediums,   my choice imposed itself on the immediacy of dry pastel.

Direct contact with the pastel stick is an extension of the hand and the eye.

I particularly like the portrait where I try to touch the "aura" of the subject through the eyes.  My goal is to capture the soul of the subject. Everything becomes emotion and the subject becomes an emotional experience between him and me.

In permanent research, my art evolves, however, the look and the human being are the permanent bases.
